A Miami-Friendly Palette Appears On The adidas D Rose 1.5

Derrick Rose is less well-known than he was a decade ago, but he still has a global fan following. Recent iterations of his adidas D Rose 1.5 have a color scheme of “Off White,” “Acid Red,” and “Bright Cyan.”

Rose’s has undergone performance upgrades as part of the Three Stripes’ “Restomod” series (“restoration”/”modification” as seen in the car industry). The Sprintskin synthetic upper keeps its original function, but the underfoot sole units have been modified with Lightstrike cushioning and Promotion traction to provide basketball players with an increased experience. The bulk of the sneaker’s upper layer is made of the most modest of the aforementioned colors, while the heel, midsole, and outsole opt for contrasting, Miami-friendly hues as eye-catching as Rose’s game when the model debuted in 2011.

Below are official images of the pair, which are now on sale at adidas.com for $160 USD.

The adidas Samba has other products from the Three Stripes.
