A mix of violets joined the New Balance 2002R Safety Pack

Declared as a top performer in the brand’s extensive catalog of sleek silhouettes, New Balance 2002R continues to enjoy the reserve release of its venerable “Protection Pack” featuring Ripped Up and Exposed Uppers. With a new batch of colorways that have already converted a 2021 release into the previous year, the Boston-based brand is looking to cover all its bases as Fall 2022 quickly approaches;Images of the latest proposal of a purposefully unfinished silhouette have recently surfaced.

Featuring a mix of toned down pastels, the jagged edges and shaggy suede construction of the upper panels are dipped in a combination of dark violet and lilac, while the built-in mesh offering emits a “mauve” hue along the heel counter and forefoot.Stitched with cream trim, the “N” logo refers to the former color spectrum.Soft-hued makeup is accentuated by dark brown accents on the heel midsole, sock liner and upper tongue as additional forefoot overlays achieve similar shading.A cream N-ERGY midsole and laces conclude the most recent addition to the stripped down pack, completing the design for a balanced light shading.
