Back in April this year, Jordan Brand unveiled a split color Air Jordan 1 Mid, showing two different color blocked styles in its middle and side sides. And though it’s only been a few months since the appearance of said colorway, Jumpman is already bringing it back, this time replacing black and white for “Beach” and “Cherrywood Red.”
Aside from the palette changes, the design here remains largely the same as its neutral-dominant predecessor. Most of the construction comes from tumbled leather, which has an additional seam that runs lengthwise down the center of the shoe.On one hand, “Cherrywood Red” takes the helm, with the top wrapped and rendered entirely “in the middle”.The adjacent wings follow suit, as does the half-branding of the tongue. The other side of the label is effectively flipped, mirroring the color employed throughout the middle.
