The “What The Dunk” and “What The P-Rod” hues of the Nike SB Dunk Lows were, perhaps, the most intriguing.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Dunk” debuted in October 2007 and was the sneaker that launched the “What The” movement. It was a part of the “Nothing But The Truth” campaign, the first full-length skate video to feature Nike SB Team Riders. There was just one shoe that wasn’t available for purchase, the famed 1-of-1 eBay Dunks, which is represented by the Greenlining on the left shoe.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The P-Rod” was released in May 2021 to honor Nike’s lengthy collaboration with Paul Rodriguez Jr., the first skateboarder to have his own signature Nike sneaker. Each mismatched shoe references various hues, textures, and materials utilized in P-trademark Rod’s collection.
