The New Balance 327 — from its early partnership with Casablanca to its more recent outfit with streetwear label MADNESS — has mostly seen collaborations thus far, but as exhibited earlier today, it looks like the brand’s inline team is working hard to expand the silhouette’s library of GRs. And after a wild split-colored offering, its most natural evolution is the classic grey colorway ingrained in the Boston institution’s DNA. Pig suede, which is one of the most oft-employed materials in the NB toolbox, affixes along the eye stay, heel, and toe box in their most recognizable tones, while a slightly darker shading constructs the nylon base underneath. Taped “N” logos enlarge in bright white, leading up to the matching laces, tongue, and lining. Elsewhere, the branded insignia contrast in bright blue, the tooling marks with a vintage-esque ecru, and the treads contrast heavily by way of black rubbers. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release at select retailers likely within the coming months.
In other news, the New Balance 1500 Animal Pack is arriving soon.
