An undeniable classic, the Club C is, according to Kyle Ng, “one of the most iconic shoes of all time.”And to take on the revenge version of the silhouette, the founder of Brain Dead drew inspiration from nature and the great beyond.”We wanted to find a material that would remind us of natural land,” Ng noted.“We thought about the tennis court and the grass – that’s where it sprouted. We took the opportunity to revive a classic and recreate it in its own unique form.”
Arriving in two colors, Brain Dead x Reebok Club C Revenge emphasizes texture.Fuzzy laces and distressed suede create a “soft imperfection” that contrasts with the sleek look characteristic of the silhouette.Then these materials are infused into cool but desaturated hues: One pair chooses grays on top of lighter blues, while its counterpart prefers deep navy hues and is wearing an overlay in a deep purple.
