Nyjah Huston has been relatively quiet since his performance at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, but he has lately returned to sneaker-related news with the release of the first image of his Nike SB Nyjah 3 model.
The name of the silhouette no longer includes the word “Free.” When examining the sneaker’s sole unit, it becomes clear why: Nike Free technology has been abandoned in favor of a cushioning and traction solution reminiscent of the Swoosh’s more robust running alternatives. The upper replaces the Air Spiridon’s design elements with what looks to be a layered configuration from the forefoot to the midfoot based on the Nike Zvezdochka or woven Nike blueprint, while the heel region is reminiscent of the Air Presto. Huston’s third signature model with Nike SB features Zoom Air technology in conjunction with Lunarlon-like cushioning for a responsive and secure ride.
Enjoy official photographs of what is anticipated to be the silhouette’s premiere style, as you await a Nike.co release in the near future.
