Is the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” Returning?

Kanye West’s debut shoe release under his sub-label, adidas YEEZY, kicked off the adidas YEEZY story in February 2015. The high-top Yeezy Boost 750 made a huge splash with its drastically different debut, as he offered a high-top sneaker comparable to a chelsea boot at a period when performance-wear was king. Although the 750 is rightfully regarded as the first-ever YEEZY release, many consider the Yeezy Boost 350, a low-top shoe that debuted months later in June, to be more significant.

Since then, the 350 has evolved into a big company in its own right, rivalling the Air Jordan 1 as the most popular “signature” sneaker on the market. The v2 model, a slightly retooled version of the original that has subsequently spread in practically every earth-toned hue conceivable, is the majority of what’s available. The original Yeezy Boost 350 was only available in four colorways: Turtle Dove, Pirate Black, Moonrock, and Oxford Tan, and it was never re-released. However, fresh photographs from the Yeezy leak account @yeezymic show a fabric swatch with lace holes that matches the grey-on-black pattern found on the Turtle Dove Yeezys.

While nothing has been verified, this surprising development inevitably leads Yeezy fans to suspect that a re-release of the Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” is in the works. It’s also possible that YEEZY is reusing the Turtle Dove design and material on a different sneaker, like as the Yeezy Boost 350 v2. Stay tuned for additional information on this development, as well as all other Yeezy 2022 release dates.
