After a disappointing defeat to the Toronto Raptors, James Garden’s eighth signature shoe with adidas has debuted in a classic combination of red and black.
The Harden Vol. 7 has rapidly become one of the most fascinating performance basketball models in the NBA, despite being criticised for its apparent lack of airflow and old-school look. The native of Los Angeles who designed the shoe has yet to show himself in it, but the Boost-cushioned, leather-clad sneaker offers off-court flair in contrast to its predecessors. The model’s inner bootie provides lockdown comparable to previous offerings from adidas, while also contrasting the upper’s near-monochromatic hue. Underfoot, sole components have a ruby-colored finish, with Boost foam visible towards the heel.
Expect an adidas.com release in the near future. Instagram user @kicksdong provided an early glimpse at the impending sneaker.
