Think back to the mid-late 1990s era of the Nike ACG category. What are some of the models that come to mind? The Terra Humara, Minot, and even the Albis should be the first to come into vision, but don’t forget the seldom-celebrated Air Skarn, the off-roader that boasted a thick midsole, protective upper, and the rubber foxing that scooped up the heel for added armor. And just like the originals, it appears that this sudden 2019 re-issue of the Skarn will also be made with recycled materials as part of Nike ReGrind (not Nike Grind), which sees surplus scraps reformed into usable parts to create performance and lifestyle products. These are expected to return on July 5th, so familiarize yourself with this classic and stay tuned for the release.
