Like the rest of the country, King James has been spending the past few weeks tucked away in quarantine, but has still remained connected to the outside world through occasional IG live sessions to keep us updated on how he’s holding up. A few days ago, the 17-year vet took the liberty of answering a few fan questions, and even touched on the fact that he, in company with his Nike Basketball family, have a few special upcoming releases rolled up their sleeve. After uncovering a Nike LeBron 17 “Air Command Force” edition, the two parties are now transferring their focus back to the low-top sibling to remix its look with a “Lakers Home” inspired outfit. Representative of the team’s Association threads, this forthcoming rendition keeps its perforated base constructions to a clean white, and sprinkles in dashes of purple towards the lace loops midsoles, and branded hits involving the Swooshes, and tongue/heel stitchings. Additionally, the rear Air bubble is dyed to a potent yellow, and the insole graphics split between the 3-time champion’s first and last names in appropriate Lakers font.
As of now, these are scheduled to release in select Asia stockists on April 1st, so stay tuned as we learn more of an official stateside release date.
