Nike SB and eBay Are Literally Putting Their Dunk Low Back Pieces Together

Back in 2003, Nike SB took over EBAY to auction a particular pair of take a stingColor matching the signature logo of the market.All proceeds from the listing – which ended at a final bid of $26,000 – were earmarked for the construction of new skate parks throughout the Portland area.Although only one pair of said shoes was sold, three are reportedly in existence, one of which was seen as four separate parts.

To honor the life of the late Sandy Bodecker, who is responsible for building the Nike SB into what it is today, Swoosh is literally putting together the pieces of the aforementioned Dunk Lo.But instead of connecting the said sections seamlessly, the team has opted to fill in the blanks with see-through TPUs.The rest of the build remains faithful to the original colorway, however, representing eBay’s signature red, blue, yellow, and green color palette.In addition, an image of Bodecker himself is printed on the sockliner of the left foot;The perfect alternative to an on-foot image of the original ripping off the eBay dunk.
