Revealed ahead of Spring’s official start, the adidas Yeezy Slides “Core” have recently emerged in product imagery ahead of a rumored release before April ends.
A reissue of a drop from September 2020, the forthcoming pair of slip-on shoes delivers a color palette now-synonymous with most of what Yeezy has offered via its adidas partnership. The two-piece proposition indulges in a tonal brown makeup (which pairs well with most of Pharrell’s Premium Basics collection) and features the serrated outsole consumers have expressed to find surprisingly comfortable. While not as aesthetically exciting as the Yeezy Foam Runner “MXT Moon Grey,” the latest slides from adidas Yeezy suggest Kanye West isn’t ready to abandon the lounge-ready footwear space anytime soon. On the contrary, the oft-memed shoe will soon be joined by options like the Yeezy 450 Slides, and surely sell out.
An official release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this “Core” style is set to launch before April ends. While you wait, enjoy official images of the pair here below, and check out the South Park adidas “Towelie” sneaker set to celebrate April 20th (4/20).
