A BATHING APE® continues to celebrate more than two decades of its BAPE STA silhouette by releasing on November 5 a pair of “Snakeskin” iterations.
While the reptile choice is not new to the Japanese brand’s 1980s basketball shoe design, the next releases resemble a Nike Air Force 1 that was formerly unique to Japan. In spite of this, the two pairs are unmistakably BAPE due to their profile star emblems, with brown and gray overlays throughout both designs. Lace dubraes with a shimmering metallic silver finish and the streetwear pioneer’s APE HEAD logo. Underfoot, sole pieces include a two-tone design that covers the traction in a pitch-black appearance.
The shoes will be available on US.BAPE.COM on November 5th, and you can see images of both styles above.
