JJJJound has recently garnered even more criticism for their lack of alleged innovation. No one has been deterred from purchasing the Montreal-based studio’s footwear offerings, from their previous ASICS GEL-KAYONO 14s to their most current collaboration with the Puma Suede. It’s virtually certain that their most recent collaboration with New Balance, a pair of 991s, will also sell out fast, particularly given how similar it is to their debut shoe with the company.
JJJJound’s forthcoming New Balance 991, which is slated to drop around the height of the Christmas season, has been leaked in great detail and has a variety of earth tones, including many of the same hues utilized in 2018 for their 990v3s. However, the design gently differentiates itself from the latter by virtue of its adjoining fixtures: the sole provides an extra touch of cream, the silver hits are dark, almost tarnished, and the branding, from the “N” emblem to the nearby embroidery, are almost totally black.
See here for an early look at the JJJJound x New Balance 991. There are rumors that they will be released in December of this year. More information, such as price and official photos, is likely to emerge shortly, so stay tuned.
