The Nike Air Max 97 Toggle Resurfaces In Black And Silver

The Swoosh has began incorporating its lifestyle designs with strengthened lace toggles suitable for the upcoming autumn season. After rendering on top of the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90, Christian Tresser’s 1997 design is now implementing a winterized black and silver aesthetic.

Exploring a metallic finish, brilliant silver tones cover the leather overlays of the upper and the mesh structure of the tongue, but its underlying layer renders the aforementioned textile in a jet-black shade. Further resembling the sock liner and tongue pull tab, black and silver laces resembling bungee cords complement the lacing toggle, while a cream-colored sole unit reigns under the foot. Utilizing its numerous Swooshes as embellishments, light pink colors adorn the latter alongside its vertical spine, while a silver Air Max unit completes the monochromatic design.
