The Nike Air Max Plus Joins The Animal Pack

The Beaverton-based brand’s “Animal Pack” Swooshes have adorned practically every major shape. From the Air Force 1 Mid to the Blazer Mid ’77 to the Air Max 90, the future of lifestyle clothing is incorporating a savannah-inspired look.

Using a pink-to-white gradient that oddly resembles frosted animal cookies, the Air Max Plus focuses the gradient on its mesh upper, which is contrasted by glossy jet-black TPU caging that also adorns the mudguard and sock liner. The suede liner that separates the cream-colored sole unit from the animal-pattern materials has a zebra print around the midfoot and cheetah patches on the heel counter and tongue tab. Title red Swooshes are centered inside the din, while the previously established pink scheme finishes along the tread and via a secondary gradient that is attached to the midfoot shank.

In other news from the Beaverton-based company, the most recent Nike LeBron 20 has a split color scheme.
