“Next Nature” is not limited to existing footwear. The term is most likely referring to Nike’s most recent chapter of sustainability, which features not only recycled Dunk Lows and Air Force 1s, but also a slew of new, innovative silhouettes. In October, the Free Terra Vista was one of the first to take the lead, with a design that was both refreshing and familiar in its street-meets-trail aesthetic. And, to ensure the sneaker gets off to a strong start in 2022, the brand has dressed it in a vibrant colorway that rivals even ACG’s best.
Between the suedes in “Desert Ochre,” a pair of purple hues make an appearance. The ripstop along the toe is a lighter violet, while the mesh mid-panel and tongue are a darker, more fluorescent shade. The laces, pull tab, and both the miniature Swoosh and circular design logo are dyed in a vibrant, neon-like orange. Underfoot, white midsoles contrast with the recycled outsole and counter, respectively.
See the official images below for a closer look at this upcoming Free Terra Vista. These are expected to arrive soon at select retailers and on Nike.com.
In other news, the New Balance 550 is set to collaborate with a couple of exciting brands this year.
