The Nike PG 6 Features An ISPA-Style React Sole

Since being sidelined by injury in late December, Paul George has seen his Los Angeles Clippers go on a five-game winning streak and a nine-game losing streak. His absence clearly hurts their playoff chances, especially given the injury status of teammate Kawhi Leonard, who may not even play the remainder of the season. Nonetheless, Nike plans to release the PG 6 signature, the sixth shoe in Paul George’s well-received shoe line, on schedule.

Cushion units have undoubtedly been a strength of the PG line. The PG 6 is a completely new design, resembling the ISPA/React family of lifestyle footwear, with a translucent rubber overlay moulded into the React foam sole. Paul’s logo is enlarged and incorporated into the bottoms’ outrigger portion, while his signature appears on the tongue pull-tabs. The upper is a relatively simple package of lightweight mesh materials with added lockdown at the lacing base. The refined toe-box is devoid of superfluous design elements, opting for a clean toe look that would pop with the addition of a different colour.

The Nike PG 6 was previously scheduled to release on January 13th, but those dates have been indefinitely postponed. For now, take a look at a first look at the Bright Crimson colorway ahead, and we’ll keep you updated on their availability.
