The Nike PG 6 Is Inspired By A Classic “Infrared” Look

Despite missing a total of 43 games since late December 2021, Paul George made his NBA debut on Tuesday, March 29th, scoring 34 points against the Utah Jazz. As the Los Angeles Clippers forward prepares to play the rest of the season, he and his Swoosh family are launching new Nike PG 6 designs.

The Nike React-cushioned silhouette was just released in grey, white, black, and near-fluorescent red. At first sight, the basketball shoe seems similar to the impending Air Jordan 4 “Infrared,” but a closer look at the label on the tongue indicates that “PG-13” was inspired by the original Air Max 90 for his trademark sneaker’s newest makeover. The various materials used across the top are mostly grey in tone, with accenting panels in black and red.
