The Nike SB Dunk Low “Light Cognac” Orange Label Is Unveiled For The First Time

While it’s no secret that celebrity co-signs have drawn casual consumers to Nike SB’s catalogue over the last three years, the team has remained true to its core audience: skaters. Allowing riders like Ishod Wair and Grant Taylor to contribute their creativity to the Swoosh’s skate-obsessed label has proven successful, as has continuing to provide exclusive releases to its network of savvy skate shops.

By way of the Orange Label programme. Nike SB has reverted to its roots under the direction of the late Sandy Bodecker, offering products exclusively at “proven” skateboarding shops. SB Dunk Low in a “White/Light Cognac” colorway was recently released as part of the Orange Label’s ever-growing, impressive catalogue. Similar to non-SB “Harvest Moon” iterations of Peter Moore’s original design, the newly-surfaced pair features a “colourless” leather base that highlights the tone of the overlays. The top of the tongue is branded with a simple orange swoosh logo, a nod to the sneaker’s limited edition status. Underfoot, an Air Jordan 1-inspired sole unit with a “White” midsole and a “Light Cognac” outsole completes the look, a combination sure to pique the interest of non-skaters.
