Since the 1980s, The Swoosh has clothed people desiring to sport the colors of their favorite universities and alma maters with the “Be True To Your School” line, which has most recently been applied to the revamped classic Nike Dunk. The Beaverton-based business has reintroduced the Nike Terminator to widespread praise, continuing its history of scouring its ancient vaults in search of a new design.
After debuting in its original “Georgetown” rendition, followed by both a snakeskin and “Noble Green” rendition, the signature shape is returning to the hardwood with an aged “Black/White” design.
Once worn by the All-American combo of Michael Jackson and Patrick Ewing at Georgetown, the most recent Terminator High replaces the “Midnight Navy” colours on its leather overlays and Swoosh with jet-black hues, but its “Phantom” components remain in their usual locations. Additional unaltered elements include the heel counter’s bigger NIKE logo, while the entire structure mimics its 1985 debut to a T, resting on an old “Pale/Vanilla Sail” sole unit.
In the meanwhile, view official photographs of the newest Nike Terminator High below as we await the pair’s anticipated release information to be made accessible within the coming weeks.
