It’s not often that Nike SB visits Australia, as they’ve previously consulted with retailers in Asia, Europe, and the United States. That is not to say the brand has ignored the Australian skate scene, as they collaborated with Trent Evans’ PASSPORT on a Blazer in 2015. And despite the passage of seven years, it appears as though the two have maintained contact, and they’re about to pick up where they left off with a creative take on the beloved Dunk High.
According to Nike SB, “flair” and “personality” are at the forefront here, as PASSPORT incorporates hiking influences. The colorway begins with layers of “Carbon Green” and “Fauna Brown” on the ripstop base and grassy suede overlays, respectively. The Swoosh’s tumbled leather is then dressed in deeper brown hues, while the sole underfoot pairs black side walls with similar hues. In comparison to all of this, the gilded details pop even more, emphasising the embroidered branding, graphic sockliner, and added D-rings.
To get a better look at PASSPORT’s Dunk High, check out the newly surfaced campaign imagery below. These are scheduled to release on March 5th via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
Additionally, the Pure Yeezy Slides will be available on March 7th.
