During the last few decades, END. Countless manufacturers have cooperated with Clothing on clothing, accessories, and footwear. The British retailer has revisited the idea of food for its most recent collaboration with Saucony.
The duo’s newest Shadow 6000 idea, which was inspired by fried chicken, adds to their famed collection of food-related concepts, which includes the Shadow 5000 “Burger” and Grid 8500 “Lobster” from 2014 and 2018, respectively. The shoes are placed in a white and red box that references the traditional buckets used to transport the tasty delicacy. As predicted, the most blatant allusion to the END is found on the shoes themselves. The team’s favorite fast food is a blend of hairy and soft suede covered in golden brown. The red chenille and white leather swath at the profiles reinterprets Saucony‘s distinctive running river insignia as a chicken drum. Co-branding and a visual of an approving chicken come to mind first.
Appreciate marketing pictures of the couple ahead and expect a conclusion. The launch date is Saturday, October 22.
