This Jordan Zion 1 SP was inspired by Yin-Yang principles.

It’s official: Zion Williamson will not return to the NBA for the 2021-22 season. The 21-year-old, on the other hand, continues to release new hues of his Jordan Zion 1 signature shoe, the most recent of which has a mismatched “White/Black/University Red” colorway reportedly inspired by “yin-and-yang” philosophy.

The newest non-Air Jordan basketball shoe, like earlier offerings under the “NIKE, Inc.” name, does not have a symmetrical appearance between left and right shoes: the former has a “White”-colored toe accompanied by pitch-dark cicles, whilst the right shoe’s toe has a clean “Black” makeup. Lace loops, “ZW” badges on the spine, and circular emblems on the top of the tongue add a splash of fiery red to the mix, anchoring the colorway in Michael Jordan tradition. Finally, the mismatched layout extends to the sole units, where “yin-yang” colour combinations replace the made-for-basketball tooling seen on both shoes.

The company has not announced a precise Nike.com debut date, although that is expected to change before the conclusion of the NBA season (mid-April). Meanwhile, have a look at the official photos of the couple below.

Check out the Air Jordan 1 “Georgetown” throwback, which will be available in the United States on April 2nd.
