Over the past three months, the Nike Dunk High has debuted in a slew of new hues that expand on what Peter Moore started in 1985. A blue-covered pair that vaguely harkens back to a “University Blue/Deep Royal”-colored release from 2006 was just added to the kid’s-exclusive lineup that has been increasing dramatically over the previous five years.
The future shoes have a lighter shade of blue along the forefoot, over the tongue, and across the heel, similar to the renowned “Argon” that debuted only in Japan in 2001. The toe box, mid-foot, and collar panels are a deep (deep) blue, with profile swooshes and laces injecting “White” into the mix. The Nike Dunk has a two-tone sole unit that references to previous colours with its “colourless” midsole and deep blue tread.
Enjoy official photographs of the pair below, and keep an eye out for a Nike SNKRS release as summer approaches.
