ThisisneverThat Reunites With New Balance For A Neutral-Dressed Duo Of 860 v2s

In 2020, New Balance commemorated the 2002R’s return with a series of collaborations, the most notable of which was with the Korean streetwear brand thisisneverthat. And after a two-year hiatus, the two are reuniting, this time on apparel and (surprisingly) the 860 v2.

The tees, hoodies, and beanies are all standard co-branded fare. The pieces are available in heather grey, black, or red and feature straightforward co-branded lock-ups and subtle athletics-inspired tags. Outerwear, too, is adorned with many of these same details, though their tracksuit and varsity jacket foundations are inherently more interesting.

The 860 v2 will be available in two neutral colorways, the lighter of which is reminiscent of one of the aforementioned 2002Rs. The leather exterior has a slight vintage tint that complements the cream finish on the laces and midsole. Elsewhere, the “NB” logo is printed in a bright red along the tongue, the only colour shared with the coordinating black alternate. Without the metallic silver “N” logo and decals, the latter would easily meet the “Triple Black” criteria.

The capsule is scheduled to release at the following times:

Korea: 2/10, 10am KST, Online/In-store
EU: 2/10, 2am ET, Online
