The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Waverunner” is back in stock! This running-inspired shoe, which debuted on August 12th, 2017, has been hailed as one of the finest Yeezy sneakers to date, as its immediately identifiable shape and colorway ushered in the chunky dad shoe style of the previous half decade. While that craze has passed, 700s are still popular in the lifestyle sneaker market, thus the Waverunner 700s couldn’t have come at a better moment.
While Kanye West and the adidas Yeezy brand deviated from these safer, more conventional models with daring designs like the Yeezy 450 and Knit Runner, the Yeezy 700, along with the Yeezy Boost 350 v2, remains the backbone of his footwear heritage. Simply said, Waverunners are a sneakerhead mainstay, and it’d be difficult to find someone who isn’t excited about its release.
One item we must not overlook is the selling price. While the 700s began at $300 MSRP, it has now been reduced to a more affordable $240 for the past several releases. adidas obviously realises the popularity of this shoe, so if you’re used to the cheaper MSRP, you’ll have to pay an extra $60.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Waverunner” returns on March 22nd, 2022 for $300. Sign-ups for the adidas Confirmed App are now available, but check back often for an updated shop list.
