As Jordan Brand prepares for Summer, many of their classics — including the Air Jordan 1 — are getting a much-needed dose of color. And though originally set to release at the end of the month, the aforementioned silhouette’s “Light Fusion Red” colorway is projected to arrive an entire week early.
Though the blocking itself may be OG-reminiscent, the specific hues are far more modern, incorporating the titular red atop its toe, eye stay, counter, and ankle flaps. To complement, shades of dark yellow arrive adjacent — specifically, atop the Swoosh and collar. Further underneath, white neutrals balance out the louder arrangement, matching both the laces as well as the midsole. Finally, in classic fashion, the tread, Wings insignia, and tongue label finish in near full black.
For a closer look ahead of the launch, see below. Expect sizes to appear at the stores listed below on June 12th at a retail of $170 USD.
Conversely, the LeBron 8 Low V/2 Miami Nights was pushed back.
